Her blood type is A, and her favorite subjects are Music and Japanese. Her favorite colors are beige and white. She also loves the flower called 'Magnolia' and of course, 'Cherry Blossom'. She owns a very beautiful voice that is why she's a spotlight in the choir club. Tomoyo is the daughter of a very rich toy company owner by the name of Sonomi Daidouji. She and her mother live in a huge mansion in Tomoeda with their many maids who serve their household. Since she's still a little girl and her mother loves her, Tomoyo is occassionally attended by the female bodyguards her mother hired to keep her safe. Later on, Sonomi is revealed to be cousins with Nadeshiko Kinomoto (Sakura's mom). Which makes Tomoyo and Sakura (and Touya) second-cousins. Despite the fact that Sonomi loathed Kinomoto Fujitaka, she felt the opposite way towards Sakura (claiming that Sakura reminded her of her dear Nadeshiko), and that only made the bond between Tomoyo and Sakura stronger. Tomoyo's father was not shown physically in the anime/manga. Tomoyo is Sakura's bestfriend, and that word is always stringed to her name in any angle shown. Of course, she can be the typical yet unique bestfriend. When she was informed of Sakura's magical abilities, she kept it a secret..but got all excited and instantly became Sakura's number 1 fan. She would record Sakura's adventures and help her friend whenever she can. She is also always ready with her helpful battle costume designs during the appropriate events (example is the Cat costume from the episode with the Thunder Card, being made out of rubber and all..). Later in the series, she becomes Syaoran's confidante when she figures out that he was in love with Sakura. And because of that, they become close friends. Although it may not seem too obvious. Personality: Tomoyo is kind, soft-spoken, and intelligent. Beauty and brains, indeed. She always makes herself look cheerful in every aspect of her life. Her ability to be very observant of other people's feelings is described by Eriol (Syaoran and probably some other charas, too). Her hobby is to take videos. She is often heard squealing "kawaii" behind her camera lens whenever she shoots Sakura Kinomoto's own exploits. That actually shows how supportive Tomoyo is toward her friends. Tomoyo would never leave Sakura alone especially when the latter needed her, and would always advise her about different things which usually helps. Tomoyo is polite towards other people (older or not) but has this tendency to make smart remarks and be a big tease (to Syaoran, specifically). Even if there is this fact that she loved Sakura more than the friendly way, she awarely becomes the Sakura-Syaoran matchmaker, and most probably doesn't regret that. She lives with her belief that her loved one's happiness is her own even if she wasn't the reason behind it, making her very mature for her age. Played by Sachi. | |||||||||
